MOUNT KILIMANJARO: -Standing high above Africa’s blues sky Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. With its huge snow covering the peaks visible from far away as it can be seen from Amboseli and at times from the peaks of Mt. Kenya. Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world it’s a true challenge to all experienced mountain climbers and first climbers. Be prepared with all equipment or ask us for what you don’t have to provide before you start hiking.
There are several routes to climb to the roof top of Africa but two are majorly used by most people with different experiences. Marangu which is also known as Coca-Cola route for its easy trek and Machame (whisky) Route used by people who really believes in hard challenges in life is hard like drinking whisky. On Machame we used typical camping facilities with potters carrying tents all the way up and down while the Marangu Route we use bandas making things a bit cheaper to our clients. We offer 4 different routes to suite everybodys interest and physical health. Climbers needs to be reasonably fit in order to face any mountain more or so Kilimanjaro
Most of our itineraries are made according to the group we normally take from Nairobi but we offer these trips from Arusha & Moshi as well. Counting the days from Arusha it comes to 2 days less but our trips from Nairobi includes Transfer and Hotel accommodation on arrival and last day from the mountain. CLIMBIMBING KILIMANJARO

RECOMMENDED MOUNTAIN EQUIPMENTS (available for higher):  - Wind proof Jacket and over trouser, Rain coat, warm under wear, warm socks, walking trousers, shirts and pull over, Rain shoes, warm hat and balaclava, scarf, warm sleeping bag, sun glasses, torch, sun cream, toilet pare, walking stick, water bottle, water purification tablets, First aid kit including blister plaster, headache tablets and emergency whistle
MARANGU ROUTE – 7 DAYS
DAY 1 ARUSHA: - Pick up from Nairobi hotel for a journey via Namanga border to Arusha town. Spend the evening to prepare mountain gear and shop for whatever you need. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.    

DAY 2 MANDARA HUT (2744M): - Transfer from Arusha to Marangu park gate (1860m). Trek through dense forest to Mandara hut (2744m) Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut.
DAY 3 HOROMBO (3761M): - Start a 10 hour walk through rugged and rocky landscape with both Mawezi and Kibo peaks in view. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.
DAY 4 KIBO HUT (4732M): - A tiring 13 kms walk takes about 6 hours through nice landscape of lobelia and cactus vegetation to Kibo Hut (4732m) Dinner and overnight at Kibo Hut.
DAY 5 UHURU PEAK (5896M): - Wake up at about 2.am for the final attempt to the roof of Africa Uhuru peak (5896m) It takes about 6 hours to climb this steepest part of the mountain through Gilman’s point (5861m)  to the summit descend to Horombo hut for dine and overnight.
DAY 6 ARUSHA: Walk down carefully as coming down is rapid. After break fast descend to Marangu park gate for transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7 NAIROBI: - After break fast transfer back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.

MACHAME ROUTE – 7 DAYS
DAY 1 ARUSHA: - Pick up from Nairobi hotel for a journey via Namanga border to Arusha town. Spend the evening to prepare mountain gear and shop for whatever you need. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.    

DAY 2 MACHAME HUT (3000M): - The transfer fron Arusha takes you to the end of tarmac road in Machame village. Trek for about 6 hours through the forest to Machame Hut for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3SHIRA HUT (3800M): - After break fast climb the steep rocky ridges across the valley then wetwards into ariver goege to Shira Hut (3800m) Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 BARRANCO HUT (3940M): - Ascend passed the Juction to Kibo towards lava tower climb down to barranco Hut (3940m) for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 BARAFU HUT (4600M): - After break fast climb the rocky walls of Barranco up and down to karanga Valley then to Barafu Hut for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6 UHURU PEAK (5896M): - Wake uo very early morning climb to stella point and then to Uhuru peak (5896m) Descend to Mweka or horombo depending on the route taken fron here.
DAY 7 ARUSHA: - Walk down carefully as coming down is rapid. I)After break fast descend from Horombo takes about 6 hours to Marangu park gate for transfer to Arusha. Ii)From Mweka Hut to  marangu will take probably short time but very steep it worth taking because its more scenic transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8 NAIROBI: - After break fast transfer back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
WHAT’S INCLUDES IN THE PRICE: - Guides and potters, Transport from and back to Nairobi, Park fees, 3 meals per day while on mountain,
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED: - Climbing equipment, mineral water, personal spending money, tips  

UMBWE ROUTE – 8 DAYS

DAY 1 ARUSHA: - Pick up from Nairobi hotel for a journey via Namanga border to Arusha town. Spend the evening to prepare mountain gear and shop for whatever you need. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.    

DAY 2 LAVA CAVES (2800m) : -After break fast we transfer clients by car to Umbwe Village via marangu park gate. 4 hours trek through rain forest to Lava caves camp (2800m)

DAY 3 BARRANCO HUT (3900m): - A distinct feeling of high attitude starts by sharp ascend then to the moorland arrive Barranco hut by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight
DAY 4 ARROW GLACIER (4900m): - Trek for about 4 hours to the foot of the arrow glacier. A leisure afternoon acclimatizing at an attitude of 4900m beautiful watch of sunset behind mount Meru.
DAY 5 KILIMANJARO CTAER RIM (5290m): - Climb steep scrambling up and cross the frozen lava on the tottering wall to the stunning cater rim of Kilimanjaro where we camp. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 6 UHURU PEAK (5896M) HOROMBO HUT (3761M): - Wake very early morning and trek up the highest point in Africa the Uhuru peak( 5896m) descend down  via Gilman’s point and kibo.  Dinner and overnight at Horombo hut (3761m)

DAY 7 ARUSHA: -After break fast descend via Mandara to Marangu for transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: - NAIROBI: - After break fast transfer back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
